 Attwood acquired L.S. Brown Co. in 1994. Attwood was becoming recognized even more as a top manufacturer of marine accessories when they received three NMDA awards in 1994:

• “Manufacture of the Year”
• "Best overall packaging award”
• "Best marketing award”
